2. No cookies, no analytics
This website does not set cookies and does not use any tools for analytics, advertising or tracking. Fonts and images are loaded from our own server; no data is transferred to third parties for this.
3. Visiting the website (server logs)
When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, and browser and operating system. This data is required to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless they are needed to investigate a security incident.
Hosting provider: Linevast Hosting – Droptop GmbH, Am Grashorn 8, 14548 Schwielowsee, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the provider.
4. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide – name, email address, message and, optionally, company, phone number and topic – in order to handle and answer your enquiry. The information from the form is sent to us by email.
The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We keep your enquiry for as long as necessary to handle it and delete it afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply – for example if the enquiry leads to an order (seven-year retention under Austrian commercial and tax law).
To protect against automated spam, the form contains an invisible check field and records the time the page was loaded. This information is only used to detect spam and is not stored.
5. Map (OpenStreetMap)
On the contact page we embed a map from OpenStreetMap, provided by the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John’s Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom. When you open the contact page, your browser loads the map directly from the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which transfers your IP address to them.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing our location in an easy-to-find way (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the United Kingdom. More information: privacy policy of the OpenStreetMap Foundation.
6. Links to other websites
This website contains plain links, for example to LinkedIn profiles and to our partners’ websites. Only when you click such a link are you taken to the provider’s website, and that provider is then responsible for processing your data.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email address above.
If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Datenschutzbehörde (Austrian Data Protection Authority), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
